Volunteer Ambulance Officers in Tasmania

"Making a Difference" is a quick look at the valuable work done by Tasmania's 500+ volunteer ambulance officers. The video was funded by the Australian Government through the National Emergency Volunteer Support Fund. It was produced by Rosny College VET Television Production Unit for the Volunteer Ambulance Officers Association of Tasmania Inc. and the Tasmanian Ambulance Service.

Want to help out with recruiting new volunteers? The following community events need VAOs to staff the recruitment vehicle. If you can assist, check with your Volunteer Coordinator or Regional Manager.

All VAOs from NW Region are invited to attend the one day Volunteer Symposium on Saturday March 10th, location TBA. Travel expenses will be covered by AT for NW VAOs and car pooling is strongly encouraged. Volunteers from other regions may attend at their own expense if space permits.

VAOAT Ulverstone Gathering

VAOAT's regular spring Gathering and Annual General meeting will be held at Camp Clayton in Ulverstone from Friday evening 7 December 2012 through Sunday afternoon 9 December 2012, hosted by the dedicated CERT group from Port Sorell.
